Your floor can look good again, Call 1.800.675.1605
This floor was severely damaged, and possibly one of the worst floors we have ever stripped. It is located in a facility that is extremely busy. The exterior of the facility is NOT paved. The dirt that is brought in from the outside makes things worse.
This is the floor after we stripped and waxed it. While some damage could not be repaired, the floors look better. Now if we can make these floors look good, imagine what we can do for yours
What does it take to Strip and Wax the floors?
You start by Sweeping them to remove all loose dust, dirt and debris. All this should be removed first. You now apply to a section of the floor the floor wax stripping solution. This is a dangerous time. We in house call this solution "Liquid Ice" It is extremely Slippery. It is NOT SAFE to walk on the floors at this point. A low speed floor machine is then passed over the floor. This machine has a pad holder and floor pad which removes the wax and dirt from the floors. The baseboards are also cleaned with baseboard stripper.
The solution is then picked up with a wet vacuum.
After this is done, we mop the floors to remove whatever liquid and "stuff" is left on the floor.
Unless the floor is pristine, we normally mop once more to make sure the floor ph is neutral prior to "sealing".
Once the floor is sealed with the floor sealer and DRY, we apply 4-6 coats of wax depending on how damaged the floors are.
Once the wax is dry, it is now safe to walk on the floors.
All floors need regular maintenance and care. Typically we are the ones who maintain the floors after floor stripping. We do this by sweeping and mopping on a regular basis. As part of a regular floor maintenance program, Periodic Floor Buffing should be done. This should be done depending on conditions, between weekly and once every other month. Of course this depends on your traffic conditions.
What does this Involve?
* We sweep the floors to remove all loose dust, dirt and debris * We then apply a "floor wax rejuvenator" (wet mopping it on)
* We then utilize a High Speed Polisher (2000 RPMS) which polishs the floor
This system keeps your floors looking Good at all times
